He is Incharge Establishment Department and Incharge Internal Audit Unit.  He is also rendering his services as Member of All - India Working Committee along with duties of Pramukh/Sector Incharge, Karol Bagh, Delhi.

Shri Madan Singh Alagh was born on November 1, 1932 in Village Hasil, Tehsil Chackwal, District Jhelum (Now in Pakistan) in the family of Shri Gurditta Mal Ji and Smt. Shanti Devi Ji. The parents belonged to a middle class family, who had faith in great Gurus and Sikh traditions.  They had 3 sons and 2 daughters.  Shri Madan Singh Alagh is the elder brother of Rev. Gobind Singh Ji, now General Secretary of the Sant Nirankari Mandal, as also Shri Ajit Singh, a devotee of the Sant Nirankari Mission, residing at present in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh).

Shri Madan Singh Alagh had, thus, a deep religious and spiritual background.  He had great love for Gurbani and respect for the elders and the saints. He had keen desire to meet the saints, have glimpse of their Darshan and to listen to their Pravachans.  Shri Gurditta Mal Ji, who had received Brahm Gyan from Baba Buta Singh Ji, the founder of the Sant Nirankari Mission,  requested  Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji to enlighten his sons (Shri Madan Singh Alagh and Shri Gobind Singh Ji). Notwithstanding their age, Shahenshah Ji blessed them with Brahm Gyan in March, 1944 at Peshawar (now in Pakistan).  Shri Gurditta Mal Ji was one of the distinguished poets of the Mission at that time.  He recited a number of poems in praise of Satguru, Almighty Nirankar and Sadh Sangat till his last breath.

In 1947, when Shri Madan Singh Alagh was studying in the 9th Class, the family along with other devotees of the Mission in their area  migrated from Rawalpindi to India and settled in Karol Bagh, Delhi.  On 7th January 1948, Shri Madan Singh Alagh joined Delhi Cloth Mills and served there for about six years.  Due to his family's circumstances, he could not continue his studies for at least 4 years from 1947 to 1951.   He was, however, very keen to study further. In the meanwhile, his mother Smt. Shanti Devi  expired on 6th December 1949 and his father Shri Gurditta Mal too expired on 3rd May, 1950.

In 1951, Shri Madan Singh Alagh passed his Matriculation Examination as a private candidate from Panjab University while working in D.C.M. He passed Intermediate in 1956, and B.A. In 1958, again as a private candidate from the same University.  On 19-07-1954, Shri Madan Singh Alagh  joined Central Government in Accountant General Office under Comptroller & Auditor General of India. He passed his S. A. S. Examination held by Comptroller & Auditor General of India in 1966 (1965 batch) and joined as S.A.S. Accountant w.e.f. June,1967 in Chief Pay & Accounts Office, Food, Rehabilitation & Supply, New Delhi. He was promoted to the post of Pay & Accounts Officer in Ministry of Law & Justice. Shri Alagh was on deputation w.e.f. April, 1981 with Sugar Industry Enquiry Commission for 3 years and D.D.A. for 2 years.  Later, with the blessings of Satguru Baba Ji, he was selected as Deputy Director (Accounts) through U.P.S.C. and posted in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management, Department of Personnel & Training.

Again as a result of Satguru's continued blessings, Shri Madan Singh Alagh got vast experience in the field of General Financial Rules, Service Rules, Administration/ Establishment, Pay Rules, Receipt and Payment Rules, Leave, Pension Rules, Reservation  in  Services and Internal Audit.   He has also served as Faculty/Trainer in these topics, since 1987. He has visited most of the State Capitals for delivering lectures, imparting practical Training to the trainees in Service Rules etc. and conducting Internal Audit particularly in Department of Legal Affairs, Department of Company Affairs and Income Tax Appellate Tribunal. On 15th October 1973, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji was pleased to authorize him to impart Brahm Gyan to the aspirants. He belongs to that family, who had witnessed the struggle of Sant Nirankari Mission in its earlier years. This family had also to face many problems due to attachment with the Sant Nirankari Mission.
