| On the 25th June 2009,
and following the recent cricket match promoting human unity
The chairman of Penkridge Cricket Club Mr Martin Rylance together
with members of his team visited the Satsang Bhawan on Wednesbury.
The purpose was to strengthen the ties between our respective
organisations and introduce the members to the congregation |
Also invited was Sarah Hassell who is the Regional Co-ordinator
for NSPCC (National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to
Children) who was presented a cheque for over £400.00
from both of the organisations.
The members were taken into the main Satsang Hall to experience
the congregation.

In the normal
way, Hymns were sung praising God Almighty, Poetry and speeches
shared upon the humanitarian message of Satguru Baba ji.
All the participants thoroughly enjoyed their experience
in the congregation and thanked the organisers for their
kind hospitality.
The Chairman Martin Rylance, was so impressed by the noble
efforts of the Mission and the way everyone conducted themselves
at the Match that he said that the event will become at
least annual if not biannual. |
