�Houston Blood Donation Camp 2007�

�Blood should flow in veins and not in drains�- following on to this teaching of His Holiness Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, the local saints of SNM, Houston organized a blood donation camp on 15th April, just days before the occasion of �Human Unity Day 2007�. The enthusiastic local saints happily participated in this camp.

A team of MD Anderson Cancer Hospital, Houston arrived at the venue of camp around 1:30 PM, where all the saints and their friends and relatives were eagerly waiting for them since morning. Rev Raj Bhala Ji, Pramukh, Houston, Rev G.L. Arora Ji, Pramukh Panipat, India, and the team members of MD Anderson jointly inaugurated the camp by lighting the candle. The blood donation started at 2:00 PM and continued till 5:00 PM.  This year 26 donors registered for the camp but only 21 were found eligible.  The announcement regarding blood donation camp was continuously made for three weeks on three local Asian language radio stations.

After the camp, Rev Raj Bhala Ji thanked the team of MD Anderson and all the blood donors. The MD Anderson Team appreciated the selfless humanitarian work done by Sant Nirankari Mission and hoped that the Mission will continue to organize such camps in future.
