We are here to learn. We should never think of teaching others or consider
ourselves as superior and others inferior.
LEARNING:
INSPIRATION
Learning broadens one's mental horizon and inspires one to learn and imbibe more
and more.
LEARNING: LIVING
Not mugging up, but comprehending and following the scriptures is true learning.
A true devotee does not believe in mere recitation of the scriptures, but in living up to
their teachings.
LEARNING: PRACTICE
Learning is a slow process requiring persistent practice and diligence. It is not
a switch-button operation. Similarly, assimilation of God-knowledge requires constant and
diligent practice, under the guidance of a True Master.
LEARNING:
PRE-REQUISITE
Humility and submission is the pre-requisite for learning.
LEARNING: SPIRIT
A devotee is humble and ever eager to learn. The spirit to learn is, in fact, the
hallmark of a devotee.
LEARNING: WILL
Those, who lose the will to learn, become arrogant, and arrogance surely blocks
all learning.
LETTER AND SPIRIT
While elucidating spiritual tenets, we have to give material illustrations. We
should, however, follow the spirit and not the letter.
LIFE: GAME
Life is a game. Let us play it in a truly sportsman spirit.
LIFE: PIOUS
Whoso leads a pious life is revered and worshipped.
LIFE: WHOLE
Life is an integral whole. It cannot, therefore, be half true and half false. It
is either true or ralse.
LIVING MASTER
As a living physician can cure our physical ailments, a living Master alone can
cure our spiritual ailments by bestowing God-realisation.
LIVING TEMPLES
God Almighty cannot be propitiated merely by construction of the places of
worship, but by loving and serving fellow-beings, the living temples of God.
LUSTRE
Education and leaning add lustre to a pious life.
