With the blessings of Satguru Baba Hardev Singhji
Maharaj, Youth Samagam was conducted successfully on 14-06-09, at Sant
Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Chennai.
Saints from all over Chennai, and other invitees mostly
youth, attended and sought blessings.
The programme started with the recitation of Shabads from
Avtar Bani, by the youth, in melodious way which set the perfect ambience to
start the Samagam.
The programme was from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm. It was well
blended with presentation in Hindi, Tamil and English.
There were speeches in Tamil, English and Hindi,
emphasizing the needs for today’s youth to surrender their deeds and actions
in holy feet of Babaji and imbibe his teachings in their life to excel
themselves and contribute towards creating a society of universal
brotherhood, peace and harmony. It further elaborated the duty of a true
devotee to accept the commands of the Master as it is.
A Tamil skit demonstrated the purpose of Human birth and
why it is so important to achieve the same.
There were two Hindi skits. One was oriented with theme
of “Whatever Satguru does, he do so for our good, provided we learn to
accept his willingness”. The other propagated the message “It is mere
saints in this world who protect the world from destruction”.
Further to add more texture to the Samagam, there was one
Ghazal, Punjabi Geet, and a Hindi Geet sung by a small saint of 4 years
which was praised by all.
One panel discussion was organized whereupon some elderly
saints were called upon stage and they tried to clear some questions and
queries by saints regarding the Mission.
To conclude the programme, there was Qawali, well
coordinated, presented, and so rhythmic that it brought the whole Sangat to
applaud, clap and sing along. Nothing better than this to conclude the
programme.
In the end, Rev Shyam Sunder Keshwani Ji, Pramukh offered
his vote of thanks to Satguru Babaji and all the saints whose presence made
it a success. In his discourse from the stage, the message was given to all
saints to come forward, put their efforts with submission to the willingness
of Satguru Babaji.
