The child today must be
equipped with human values so that he grows up to meet
every challenge of the society as a responsible
citizen. For this, the education system must fulfil
their needs and aim at their all-round development.
This was observed by His
Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Head of the Sant
Nirankari Mission while addressing the Annual Day
Function of the Sant Nirankari School in Faridabad on
April 25, 2009. He was accompanied by his holy mother
Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji and his gracious
spouse Pujya Mata Sawinder Ji.
Baba Ji said that there
are vast rural areas of India, where the light of
education is yet to reach. The Mission, he said, is
trying to provide a good standard education with
affordable expenses through a number of aided schools as
well as Public Schools.
The Annual Day was
marked by a colourful exhibition of models and charts
prepared by students as also a cultural programme
presented by them. Children from other Public Schools
run by the Mission in Delhi also participated in the
cultural programme.
While Rev. V.K. Arora,
Member Central Management Committee presented the
welcome address, Rev. K.K. Verma, Manager of the School
presented its annual report. Rev. Raj Vasdev Singh Ji,
Member Incharge Public Schools in the Sant Nirankari
Mandal also addressed the gathering.
Among VIPs, Shri Avtar
Singh Badana, Member Parliament also attended the
function and sought blessings of His Holiness.
