On the 27th June 2009 HS Bhatia ji (Upshak Ji) of the Sant Nirankari Mission was invited to host a Spiritual event called Awakening with the Brahm Kumaris, “The Secret of Contentment.” The event was held in the renowned Clarendon Suite in Birmingham and was presided over by Sister Shivani and Sister Jayanti being interviewed by Kanupriya of the entertainment industry of India. Aastha Channel gave coverage as Media representatives.

The VIP’s gathered at 3.30pm and the Talks commenced at 4pm sharp. Upashak ji introduced all the learned participants and provided the summing up at the conclusion. Discussion took place on the fact that in order to achieve contentment it was must to become God Realised. It was suggested that ‘Nirarkar.’ must be recognised in ones’ life. Upashak ji, competently concluded by saying that, if one wishes to recognise Nirarkar, he must enter the company of a knower of Nirarkar and only a guru can reveal such wisdom into our lives and thereby lead us towards contentment.

His Holiness Nirankari Baba ji has recently said, “Realisation…. Let’s Live in Harmony and in order to give shape to this message, Upashak ji took on the responsibility by conducting the proceedigs at this function. In fact even the invitation card read, “The Secret of Contentment,” in the company of our dear host Harmohinder Bhatia of Sant Nirankari Mandal UK which was quite remarkable in itself. Harmony has been created between our mutual organisations and of course the people who attended this event.

The Mission in the United Kingdom is taking massive steps in the creation of Inter-Religious Harmony by supporting such initiatives and the thoughts of His Holiness are shared throughout. The picture being created is one where walls of ignorance are being destroyed and bridges of one Global Family are being created.
