902 People Benefitted in Two Free Health Check-Up
Campsby Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in Mumbai

The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, Mumbai Branch organized two free medical check-up camps at Navy Nagar and Vile Parle on 2nd and 3rd October, 2010 wherein around 902 people were benefited.

On 2nd October a Health Check-up Camp was organized in Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Ganesh Murthy Nagar, Navy Nagar where a team of doctors of Sant Nirankari Mandal namely Dr. N.S.Yadav, BAMS, Dr. Sachin Mane, BAMS, Dr. Komal Anand, BDS, Dr. Priti Shah, MD DGO provided their services voluntarily. The camp provided eye check-up, dental check-up and general health check-up. Among the beneficiaries were 76-male, 121-female and 55-children in the slum area of Ganesh Murthy Nagar. The Camp was inaugurated by Rev. Jiti Anand, Sector Pramukh, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Navy Nagar.


Another health check-up camp was organized on Sunday, 3rd October, 2010 at Parle Tilak High School, Vile Parle (East) with the coordination of Lions Club wherein 650 people were benefited. The camp provided eye check-up, dental check-up, Asthama check-up, Sujok Therapy, Osteoporosis check-up and general health check-up. Around 35 cataract detected were registered for operation and 400 eye patients were provided with free spectacles. The camp was inaugurated by Shri Raju Manwani, IPMCC (Chair Person), Lions Club. Smt. Pooja Kapoor Addl. Incharge for Social Welfare, Sant Nirankari Charitable Trust, Mumbai Branch worked in close co-ordination with local Sector Incharge of the Sant Nirankari Mandal Rev. J.P.Upadyay.
