A Cleanliness Drive was organized by the Sant Nirankari
Mission on September 18, 2010 at Red Fort and Qutub Minar, the
two great monuments under the Archaeological Survey of India, in
Delhi. More than 5,000 volunteers of Nirankari Sewa Dal and
other devotees of the Mission participated.

Nagar, Shahdara and Geeta Colony branches, while volunteers from
Mehrauli, Greater Kailash, Malviya Nagar, Govindpuri, Badarpur
and Gurgaon participated in the drive at Qutab Minar.

Addressing the volunteers at Red Fort, Shri Gautam Sengupta,

their spirit of devotion and dedication. He said that such a
spirit could be expected only from those who are connected with
God.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri J.R.D.Satyarthi, President,
Sant Nirankari Mandal, said that the saints have always preached
for selfless service of humanity, because they accept the entire
world as their own.

The drive at Qutab Minar was led by Rev Kirpa Sagar, Member
Incharge, Press and Publicity, Shri J.S. Khurana,
Mukhya-Sanchalak, Sewa Dal, Shri Vasdev Singh, Upmukhya
Sanchalak, Shri Sandeep Khinda and other saints. While
addressing devotees of the Mission, Rev Kirpa Sagar said that
service to mankind is a seed which never goes waste. He further
said that though the core objective of the Mission has been to
bring cleanliness in the minds of human beings through
God-knowledge, yet being a part of society, the Mission actively
participates in social welfare activities from time to time.
Today's cleanliness drive has been launched at a call from His
Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that it should be the duty
of every citizen of Delhi to keep it clean and green for the
Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held next month.
