Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Yorkshire Nirankari Volunteers
organised and hosted the Yorkshire & Humber Faiths Forum
Meeting at Sant Nirankari Bhawan Bradford on 28th September
2010.The theme of the meeting was “The need and importance
of Spirituality and safety for the youngsters and the
elderly in modern society”.


On behalf of the Nirankari Mission, Rev Jawahar Singh Ji,
Local Parmukh, Rev Atma Ram Ji and Rev Kulbinder Saandal Ji,
Local committee members, along with other saints, warmly
welcomed the guests who belonged to various faiths and
communities and had travelled from different parts of the region
to participate in the meeting. Many of them visited the
Yorkshire Nirankari Mission’s branch for the first time.
Mr Inderjit Bhogal OBE, Director of Yorkshire and Humber
faiths Forum inaugurated the meeting by thanking and
commemorating the Nirankari Mission’s tireless work in
bringing the communities together and promoting the message
of Universal oneness within such a broad spectrum of
diverse cultures and beliefs.


Many speakers shared their views and discussed the
importance of spirituality and safety for today’s youth and
the elderly within our society. They all agreed that the
basic principles of Humanity i.e. mutual Love & Respect for
one another, Tolerance and understanding for others belief,
is the key to building a safer and peaceful co-existence
within our communities and society at large.
Rev Jawahar Singh Ji spoke on behalf of the Nirankari
Mission and said that the Nirankari Mission is already
promoting Universal Brotherhood under the Fatherhood of One
God, with love and respect for the whole mankind. Nirankari
youth always work under the guidance of their elders,
bridging the gaps in the minds of people from different
faiths by showing love and tolerance for ALL through
whatever their endeavours might be, regardless of social man
made barriers of caste, colour or creed.


Few youngsters, along with the senior saints from the
mission, also got the opportunity to share their views in
the meeting. All echoed the Nirankari Mission’s message of
Peace not Pieces and how today’s youth must work together to
promote harmony in the world.
