Reallocation of Departments Among EC Members Some changes have been made in the allotment of departments among Members of the Executive Committee with effect from May 1, 2008. The changes are: 1. Rev. JRD Satyarthi will continue to function as the President of the Sant Nirankari Mandal and coordinate among Members of the Executive Committee. He will also continue to act as PS to His Holiness. The Prachar Vibhag including Preachers’ Training has, however, been taken out of his responsibilities and allotted Smt. Joginder Kaur as its Member Incharge. Hitherto, she was working as Additional Member Incharge in this department and assisting Rev. JRD Satyarthi. 2. Rev. Gobind Singh, General Secretary, Sant Nirankari Mandal relinquishes the Administration of Branches in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and takes over the Administration of Branches in Zones 42, 43, 44 and 45 in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. All other responsibilities given to him hitherto continue to be his charge. They are: (1) Purchase of Land and Properties in India except South Indian States; (2) General Administration; and (3) Relief and Rehabilitation of families affected by violence. 3. Rev. K.R. Chadha, Secretary, Sant Nirankari Mandal continues to hold the charge of: (1) Foreign Affairs; (2) Law Department; (3) Sewa Dal Vibhag; and (4) Tours of His Holiness in India and Abroad. He will also look after Liaison with Central Government, Government of NCT Delhi, DDA and MCD. Hitherto liaison with DDA was looked after by Rev. Brijmohan Singh Sethi. As regards Samagams, except Annual International Samagam, all other Samagams will be under the supervision and control of Secretary/Member Incharge of concerned branches where Samagams are held. 4. Rev. D.R. Bajaj will continue to hold his present charge of Administration of Branches in South Indian States, Orissa, West Bengal, North Eastern States, Sikkim and Andaman and Nikobar, plus Goa. The Branches in Goa were hitherto looked after by Rev. V.D. Nagpal. 5. Rev. V.D. Nagpal relinquishes the Administration of Branches in Goa and takes over the Administration of Branches in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. He also continues to look after the Branches in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Daman and Diu. Rev. V.D. Nagpal continues to look after Construction and Maintenance of Bhawans and other Buildings. 6. Smt. Raj Vasdev Singh continues to be the Member Incharge of Education (SN Public Schools). She also takes over as Member Incharge Publications (Sale and Distribution) including Publication Store, Production of Geet Books, Audio-cassettes, audio CDs and gift items. 7. Rev. J.D. Sharma continues to be Member Incharge Public Relations. He, however, relinquishes the charge of Security and Wireless Department which goes to Brig. P.S. Cheema as its Member Incharge. 8. Rev. Brijmohan Singh Sethi continues to be the Member Incharge Transport including Automobile Workshop. He, however, hands over the charge of Liaison with DDA to Rev. K.R. Chadha, Secretary. 9. Smt. Joginder Kaur, as mentioned above, takes over as Member Incharge, Prachar Vibhag including Preachers’ Training. 10. Brig. (Retd) P.S. Cheema, as mentioned above, takes over Security and Wireless. He also continues to be attached with Member Incharge Medical, Health and Social Welfare Department.
