A Spiritual Musical Evening

Friday 29th August 2008, saw Bradford Nirankari Satsang Bhawan play host to ‘A Spiritual Musical Evening’, organized with the Blessings of HH Baba Hardev Singh Ji by the SNM Yorkshire volunteers; with special guest performers; Mamta Joshi Ji (India) and Jaswinder Jass Ji (Midlands, UK) performing an array of LIVE SUFI and traditional folk songs in praise and glory of this Almighty Nirankar.

The open-invite event was a huge success with friends, relatives, saints (as far as Glasgow/Edinburgh) and invited  guests from various backgrounds and religious denominations making up over 200 attendees. Members from the local congregation also sang a few melodious and uplifting songs to set the audience for an enchanting and blissful evening ahead of  the wonderful LIVE music to stir and uplift the soul in praise of this Almighty Nirankar.

Both Mamta Joshi Ji and Jaswinder Jass did not disappoint as they stirred up the passions and emotions to give fantastic performances;  Glorifying the CREATOR and with whom there is the beauty of HIS creation that we see all around us.

Rev H.S.Upashak Ji concluded the evening performances with the discourse in which he spoke of the performers who sang in praise of Allah, Wahe Guru, Lord Ram and Lord Jesus Christ, and that the members of the Nirankari Mission who have been blessed with the TRUTH know there is only ONE truth from time in memorial and ONE Almighty Nirankar. Allah, Wahe Guru, Lord Ram and Lord Jesus Christ all point to the same TRUTH and existence of the same GOD; and that we join in HIS praise whether the song is praising Allah OR Lord Jesus Christ OR Lord Ram.

Yet man without enlightenment from the spiritual master of the time; place so much attachment to the name of GOD and YET disown the same GOD called by a different name.

Rev Upashak Ji blessed and thanked all who attended the event making it a most rememberable and soul-lifting evening. All who attended thoroughly enjoyed the Spiritual Musical evening; which broke down barriers and bonds that separates one community from another; and agreed that we cannot praise enough this Almighty Nirankar; and that as long as we praise HIM, then their is no room for divisions OR animosity amongst the different religious sects; as we are ALL CHILDREN of the ONE FATHER.

The evening was concluded with communal meal where the discussions and love generated from the evening brought the audience even closer, uniting to further glorify and praise the ONE GOD.
